Why we love Rhian Sugden
We just can’t keep up with all the latest trends and crazes. One of our least favourite (aside from the term ‘tweeple’ used to describe people on Twitter) is sexting, which is sexy texting.
Such a nefarious act landed lanky northerner Vernon Kay into hot water last year when it emerged he had been sexting glamour model Rhian Sugden. Think things are all patched up between them now, though. Although Vernon’s phone has been taken off him and he just waves his massive arms around to tell his wife where he is.
Rhian’s been a glamour model for some years, having been a page girl for The Sun and later working for Maxim, Loaded, Zoo and Nuts. She’s done the rounds. Filled her glamour-studded CV with… well, studs of glamour.
She used to work as a network administrator which, quite frankly, sounds like a horrible job to work in. Luckily Rhian found her talents lay elsewhere, far from the shores of administrating networks.
Rhian has also made a few TV appearences, showing her face on Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway, Rude Tube with Alex Zane, Soccer AM and something called Bamma Ring Girl on the now sadly departed channel Bravo.
She plays a ‘wood nymph’ in 2011 James Franco film 'Your Highness', and has 5 years of bestselling calendars under her belt. Not too shabby.
Rhian has thrown herself out of numerous planes, raising a whole chunk of money for various causes, her latest being the ‘Rhian’s Got Balls’ project, where she is trying to raise £1m in 12 months on behalf of the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign. Rhian will be completing 12 eye-popping challenges from swimming with sharks to wingwalking, and doing the world’s highest bungee jump.
