But there’s more to Jody than that. “I’m adopted,” she confides. “My parents are white, and I was raised with two brothers with special needs. They made me the woman I am today – patient, kind and loving, with a big heart. I didn’t have the traditional Indian family life, and I wouldn’t change a thing.” Jody works as a medical assistant in San Jose, California – a city she loves for its high-end shops, first-rate restaurants and beaches. “There are so many options,” she says, “and San Francisco is less than an hour away.” Weekends find Jody shopping in upscale Santana Row, going for dinner, drinks and dancing with her friends. “I’m single,” says Jody, “and I’m very outgoing.
