Nudity is human, it's who we are. Taking pictures of myself in this way though is new for me. I hardly ever feel proud enough of myself of what I have created with my soul so far in life. In some pictures I seem happy, in others a sadness surrounds my being. Capturing expressive, happy, sexual or sad images of myself helps me become aware of certain aspects of myself. Even though I might not fully comprehend what I am expressing in the pictures, my subconscious is stronger than my conscious self, and these photos are an expression of that. Both my insecurity and my not so present conscious self, are products of the contemporary western unconditional society and materialism. I hope my images speak more than my words.
